           Yuzu essential oil has been used in Japanese culture for centuries for its therapeutic properties and fresh clean aroma. Traditionally, the Japanese would bathe with Yuzu peels during the winter solstice. The oil is cold pressed from the fruit peel of the Citrus junos tree. Yuzu has a tart, citrus smell that is similar to a blend between Mandarin and Grapefruit. It is perfect for blends, aromatherapy, and popular in natural perfumery.
          The wonderful aroma can create an atmosphere that is refreshing, especially during times of worry and tension. Yuzu is recommended for a variety of nervous conditions. It supports respiratory health by helping during times of congestion brought on by common ailments. It may reduce the recovery time after illness and is a good addition to skin conditioning formulas.
