          Oregano essential oil’s warm, herbaceous scent (Similar to Thyme or Basil). It is reputed to relieve cough and cold symptoms, to disinfect, and to soothe topical discomforts such as inflammation and itchiness. It can be used in numerous body care products ranging from skin and hair care to emotional care through aromatherapy. 

          When used in aromatherapy, Oregano Essential Oil can boost the immune system and improve the efficiency of the respiratory tract by loosening up and eliminating a buildup of mucus and phlegm. It can also soothe throat irritation to suppress coughing fits. Its calming and relaxing effects make it an effective sleep aid when diffused in the bedroom. However, it is stimulating to the circulatory system to ease fatigue and may aid some types of headaches.
          Oregano essential oil contains the highest percent of Carvacrol & Thymol. These are 2 of the most powerful antioxidants found in essential oils. They both demonstrate the ability to scavenge free radicals.
          Anti-allergenic and sedative, Oregano Oil reduces bodily reactions to allergens and airborne pollutants that cause inflammation, such as pollen and mold. Due to its Carvacrol content, which exhibits anti-inflammatory properties, Oregano Oil can relieve swelling, itching, sneezing, and congestion. Flu and general sickness symptoms may diminish when Oregano is diffused into the air.
