  •           Emotionally some aromatherapists recommend Cinnamon Leaf to stimulate creativity, for feelings of isolation, loneliness and fear. It is a tonic to the mind and body, reducing drowsiness and bringing a welcome boost to falling energy levels.
Cinnamon leaf oil has a high amount of eugenol and is similar to clove in aroma. To some people the eugenol aroma of Cinnamon Leaf reminds them of the anesthetic used at the dentist office while the aroma of Cinnamon Bark is more similar to the Cinnamon cooking spice.

Both are strong essential oils and are not similar to each other in aroma or chemistry. A small amount adds a lot of fragrance to candles, soaps, diffusers, massage oils, potpourri and etc...
Cinnamon leaf essential oil is a powerful antiseptic and anti-fungal oil. A few drops in your vaporizer or aroma burner (warmer) will help reduce airborne bacteria. Blended with Eucalyptus, Eucalyptus Lemon, Niaouli, Ravensara or Tea Tree essential oils it makes an effective insect repellent blend for a variety of insects.
Cinnamon Leaf has a warming and antispasmodic effect on the body. Added in a local rub and it may be useful for easing muscle aches and sprains as well as joint, arthritis and rheumatism pain. Since cinnamon leaf essential oil can cause skin sensitivity, Aroma & More recommends to use no more than a 0.6% maximum in formulas applied to the skin.

Note: Not for internal use. Most essential oils cannot be taken internally, but even when they can, essential oils are highly concentrated and require dilution, special training and caution that Aroma & More does not yet provide. You can never drink any essential oils at 100% strength or diluted in water-based liquids.
Caution: May inhibit blood clotting. Moderate risk of skin sensitivity. Cinnamon Leaf is a powerful essential oil which should be diluted to less than 0.6% if applying to skin. Essential oils can be harmful if used improperly. Information is provided for educational purposes only. It is up to the customer to determine if the product is right for their intended purpose. Special consideration should be made before applying essential oils to pregnant women, children or the elderly. If under a doctor's care, please consult the physician before using essential oils. If applying to skin essential oils must be diluted correctly and Aroma & More recommends testing on a small area of skin to check for reaction before attempting a full body massage.
