Mandarin has a lovely sweet fruity citrus aroma that is sweeter than sweet! Mandarin has relatively low limonene compared to Orange or Tangerine for a more powerful aromatic scent and perhaps one of the most relaxing.
It is very mild and often used in children formulas to help calm nervousness especially during moving or travelling. The aroma of Mandarin is soothing to the digestive system and may help reduce feelings of travel or sea sickness. In skin care, it is considered safe during pregnancy and is added to rubs and massage blends to improve elasticity to the skin to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
