As an antidepressant it is suggested as one of the most effective antidepressants and sedative oils, recommended for cases of insomnia due to anxiety and depression. Neroli is said to inspire joy and happiness.
It is considered one of the "true" aphrodisiac essential oils. Neroli not only reduces tension but is said to enhance libido among those with fading interest.
