To burn palo santo wood sticks:
1. Light a palo santo stick with a candle, lighter or match. Hold the stick downward at a 45-degree angle and let the stick burn for 30-60 seconds. Then carefully blow it out.
2. Allow the Palo Santo stick to burn for 30 seconds to a minute, then carefully blow it out.
3. Move around the space in which you wish to clear the energy - your entire home, bedroom, office, car or body, allowing the smoke to waft around each area.
4. As you take the Palo Santo stick into the corners of each room or space you are cleansing, pray "I ask that the plant spirit of Palo Santo please infuse this space with blessings" or "May this bring peace and comfort into our home."
5. Once you feel you have cleansed your space, place the Palo Santo stick in a fireproof bowl like shell or ceramic bowl and allow the embers to burn out.
6. For aromatherapy Place the stick on the charcoal dish in a heatproof dish like shell or ceramic bowl to let it burn. A rich smell will fill the air, bringing peace and clarity to the moment. 
7. Palo santo sticks are reusable. A stick can be used several times.
8. Keep the palo santo sticks away from children, pets, and flammable objects. Do not leave the bowl near flammable objects like blankets, curtains, or wood furniture. Place the palo santo sticks in safe place not to reach by children or pets. 
9. Never leave your palo santo sticks unattended. Remember to always exercise care and caution when working with fire.
