         Saro Essential Oil smells of fresh camphorous with a slight lemony/ fruity note. It contains approximately 40-50% oxides (primarily in the form of 1,8 cineole), 20-35% monoterpenes and 10-20% monoterpenols. Saro have powerful health protecting, anti-microbial, antiviral, anti-fungal, antibacterial and immuno-stimulant properties and very useful oil to work with for coughs, colds, headaches, respiratory complaints and to ease muscular aches and pains.
         Emotionally, Saro Essential Oil is uplifting and stimulating. It may be helpful in blends intended to assist with fatigue, depression and anxiety.

          Native to Madagascar this evergreen and very aromatic tree can reach up to 5m of height Saro is produced almost exclusively in Madagascar where it is commonly employed to prevent sickness and aid the immune system due to its antiviral properties. Saro’s fresh, vibrant aroma may stimulate the mind and boost creativity as well as ease breathing difficulties. 
          Saro is called many names in Madagascar. Most commonly in Malagasy, Saro is called Man-dra-va-sa-rotra which means “what keeps evil away”. This is the name most used by the populations of the western part of the island. 
          Added to cleaning blends, it may help hinder the growth of virus’ and bacteria to improve sanitation.

Note: Most essential oils cannot be taken internally, but even when they can, essential oils are highly concentrated and require dilution, special training and caution that Aroma & More does not yet provide. You can never drink any essential oils at 100% strength or diluted in water-based liquids.
