Cypress Blue has a very interesting aroma that is difficult to describe and sure to be popular among our perfumery partners. It is sweet, woody, slightly balsamic, dry, fruity, nutty and exotic.
It is considered mostly a top/middle perfumery note, yet shows great potential as a beautiful fixative in high end aromatic blends.

Historically it has been used to protect the skin in the harshest Australian environments. It is not similar to Cypress France in use or appearance but instead it shares many of the same benefits as Blue Chamomile. It shows antioxidant qualities, is soothing and moisturizing on the skin as well as soothing and relaxing to the nerves without the sedative side effect. It is also a good insect repellent.
Cypress Blue is considered Hypotensive and may lower blood pressure in people who suffer from high blood pressure and is being researched for its possible cancerous tumor fighting capabilities.
