Yuzu essential oil has been used in Japanese culture for centuries for its therapeutic properties and fresh clean aroma. Traditionally, the Japanese would bathe with Yuzu peels during the winter solstice. The oil is cold pressed from the fruit peel of the Citrus junos tree.
Yuzu has a tart, citrus smell that is similar to a blend between Mandarin and Grapefruit. It is perfect for blends, aromatherapy, and popular in natural perfumery.
