   Birch tar essential oil is extracted from the bark of birch trees, prevalent in the Northern Hemisphere, including North America, Europe, and Asia, notably Russia and Japan. It has a heavy, intense smoky and woody aroma, often likened to campfires or smoked leather.

   The oil had rich in compounds like guaiacol, cresol, and xylenols, it possesses antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and insect-repellent properties.

   This essential oil is rich in anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients and may help in healing skin diseases like psoriasis and eczema. It soothes and calms the skin leading to reduction in redness and itchiness. Birch essential oil helps in hair growth and hair problems. Its heals wounds and lessens muscle pain.

    This oil is produced through dry distillation of birch bark in a low-oxygen environment at high temperatures (~200°C+), yielding a viscous, dark brown to black crude tar. This is further refined via steam distillation or purification to remove impurities, resulting in a safe essential oil.

Its smoky, woody scent is ideal as a base note in perfumes, blending well with citrus or floral notes to create a bright, fresh fragrance.
