Pine has a sharp evergreen scent. It’s not as sweet as fir in a massage formula but it is more stimulating than fir. It has more potential in liniments for sore muscles and joints, respiratory support, disinfectant ability, immune system booster and increases white blood cell production to fight infection. Pine is a warming oil for muscle rubs and a natural pain reducer. It may be useful in liniments to reduce pain in sore muscles and joints. For Home care, Pine can be added to soaps, cleansers, candles, deodorizers, Potpourri, diffused or vaporized in the air, or used in other natural fragrancing. Pine is even an effective ant repellent.
