                Angelica Root has a rich complexity of a peppery top note combined with earthy/woody middle notes over small amounts of musky/spicy animal like notes. It is popular among perfumers and aroma therapists for its pleasant scent and is easy to blend with many other essential oils. 

                Angelica Root is recommended for many purposes but especially popular in detoxifying and immunity building formulas. It is very energizing and thought to build emotional strength.

Note: Most essential oils cannot be taken internally, but even when they can, essential oils are highly concentrated and require dilution, special training and caution that Aroma & More does not yet provide. You can never drink any essential oils at 100% strength or diluted in water-based liquids.

Caution: Angelica Root oil contains bergaptene which can be phototoxic in dilutions above 0.8%. A typical reaction is an increased risk of sunburn. It is recommended to cover or avoid sunlight on areas of skin treated with Angelica Root for 12 to 24 hours. Essential oils can be harmful if used improperly.
