Fir is thought to ease respiratory issues but is not recommended during an asthma attack because it may increase bronchial spasms.
Emotionally it is recommended for a lack of energy, mental exhaustion and general weakness, fatigue or stress.
Silver Fir or White Fir has one of the freshest scents that can be found. It has approximately 30% limonene similar to citrus oils but maintains its leading pine scent.
It is more subtle, not as sharp or harsh as pine can be. It is fresh and emotionally uplifting and to some it may bring back the memories of the Christmas Holidays.
