100% Pure & Natural Essential Oil

We are pleased to offer this German Chamomile from Bulgaria. Bulgaria often seems to produce a richness in essential oils not found in the same species grown elsewhere. It has a high chamazulene content, deep blue color and rich herbal aroma with fruity lower notes.

Compositionally, German Chamomile is not similar to Roman Chamomile but they are very similar in use. The main difference is indicated by the color. The deep blue indicates high chamazulene which increases its anti-inflammatory properties.

German Chamomile is one of the gentlest essential oils and one of the few recommended for young children. It is sometime rubbed on the gums in very small amounts to reduce teething pain or the flowers are used to make a chamomile tea which is sometimes by nursing mothers to ease colic. It is among the most powerful essential oils to relax the body and mind. It is used to reduce the severity of stress, tension and tension headaches, anxiety, worry, insomnia, PMS, menopause, hyperactivity, and nervous indigestion.

German Chamomile can be used to reduce inflammation and pain from bruising, overworked muscles and stiff joints. It can help shrink capillaries to reduce blood from settling and forming varicose veins. It can help protect from infection on minor injuries and sooth burns, eczema, skin rashes and insect bites. It also stimulates the body to produce white blood cells to fight infection.

Additionally, it is a great addition to cosmetic formulas. It is a good skin conditioner and treatment for acne. A little may be added to your favorite shampoo to bring out highlights in your hair.

  • Box as pictured is available for 10ml size only.
