          Tobacco Absolute is a very tenacious, aromatic material that adds warmth, depth and character to natural perfumes, especially masculine and Amber blends when used in very small amounts. It has a leathery, woody, mossy, sweet hay-like, warm aroma reminiscent of fine pipe tobacco when diluted. 

          It is a common and popular ingredient in perfumery. A must-have specialty oil for perfumers. Tobacco Absolute is used as a fixative, which means it helps to prolong the life of a perfume. It is also used in small amounts to add depth and richness to a fragrance.

          For aromatherapy, It is used for treatment to provide relief from mental stress, dullness, stress, emotional problems due to its soothing effect on both mind and body.

         Tobacco Absolute is almost completely soluble in alcohol but is only partially soluble in fixed (carrier) oils. It may be infused to carrier oils by gently heating both absolute and carrier oil separately before combining. When cooled, insoluble material will precipitate to the bottom, however the oil remaining will be highly aromatic. The insoluble portion may be repurposed into potpourri or possibly soaps or candles.

          While this product is considered “Nicotine Free” it still may contain trace amounts.
