Spruce Hemlock is the most common Spruce oil. Its also known as Tsuga oil, Eastern Hemlock oil. It is native to the North East region of North America. The oil produced is the sweet evergreen and slightly balsamic. It is close to Black Spruce in composition and similar in aroma and use. North American Spruce contains lower camphorus aromas normally found in European species.
Traditionally, Spruce has been used anti-inflammatory rubs and for respiratory issues. It is an energizing oil which has been used in saunas and warm baths to cleanse the body and open airways.

For aromatherapy, its used as nerve tonic and to help relieve joint and muscle pain associated with sprains, strains and rheumatoid arthritis. Its help clarity the mind and great unifying benefit to the nervous system and can promote clear smooth breathing. As a fresh forest aroma that is good for meditation and yoga as it assists with spiritual connection.
It has a fresh and crisp aroma that is great in room sprays, perfumes, household cleaning, and bath products.
