100% Pure & Natural Essential Oil

•           This Cornmint oil is from an unrefined single distillation and has a strong, fresh, and bittersweet aroma. The total menthol content when first distilled is over 70%, but this is too high for the oil to carry and some of this crystalizes as it cools and is separated out. The remaining product has about 55% menthol and is still sharp, minty and slightly sweet.
•           Cornmint oil has a cooling feel that is a great pain reliever for minor burns such as sunburn as well as for sore muscles and aching joints. It is however, a warming oil in that helps draw blood flow to the area where applied. It also relieves itching from dry skin, minor injuries, sores, cold sores, insect bites and minor allergic reactions. It is stimulating, energizing and improves stamina.
•           Cornmint is sometimes called Japanese mint (Field mint, Wild mint) and is one of the most effective essential oils for fungal infections. It is also used to control athlete’s foot or in hair treatments for dandruff because it is thought to not only fight infection but stimulate the glands to produce more moisture in cases of dry scalp or skin.         
•           Diluted in small amounts into a natural aloe vera gel, Cornmint has a cooling feel and can be used in local rubs to ease pain from minor burns such as sunburn. (Note: burns should be treated first with cold running water to minimize continuing damage. Seek medical advice with large or serious burns).
•           Cornmint improves circulation and may ease the severity of a headache.
•           Some people prefer the aroma of mint in their pest control products. In areas outside the home or living space Cornmint can be a powerful oil to use in pest control products. It repels ants, aphids, flea beetles, cockroaches, white flies, lice and even mice. (Avoid prolonged exposure to Cornmint especially around children and pets).

Note: Not for Internal use. Potential for blood reaction if taken with common medications including antimalarials, sulfonamides, chloramphenicol, streptomycin and aspirin. Not recommended for people with G6PD enzyme deficiency. Most essential oils cannot be taken internally. But even when they can, Essential oils are highly concentrated and require dilution, special training and caution that Aroma & More does not yet provide. You can never drink any essential oils at 100% strength or diluted in water based liquids.
