100% Pure & Natural Essential Oil

Yarrow essential oil (Achillea millefolium) has a distinctive aroma that's often described as herbaceous and earthy, with subtle sweet, spicy, and slightly balsamic undertones.

It can evoke the scent of fresh wild herbs, like a mix of chamomile and pine, but with a more complex, green edge—sometimes mildly camphoraceous (think a hint of eucalyptus-like freshness).

Yarrow essential oil, derived from Achillea millefolium, offers a wide range of benefits in aroma therapy due to its rich composition. It is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties, making it effective for reducing symptoms from painful and inflamed conditions, including eczema, rashes, insect bites, burns, and joint discomfort. Its astringent qualities help manage acne and balance oily skin and scalp. The oil also possesses antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial activities, which support skin health and help purify the skin by reducing microbial presence. It supports wound healing, promoting skin regeneration, repair of damaged skin and open wounds.

For women's health, yarrow essential oil can help regulate the menstrual cycle. It is also used to improve circulation, which may help reduce varicose veins and hemorrhoids. The oil's ability to support the immune system and reduce the duration of seasonal illnesses is another key benefit.

Emotionally and mentally, yarrow essential oil is valued for its calming and balancing effects. It helps reduce anxiety, stress, and mild depressive states. It is often used to support emotional stability during major life changes, aid in meditation, and help release repressed anger or irritability. Its use in aromatherapy can improve mental clarity and focus when diffused.

The oil's beneficial effects are attributed to its key constituents, including chamazulene, which gives it a distinctive blue color and contributes to its anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic actions. Other important components are β-caryophyllene, β-pinene, sabinene, and germacrene D, which support its soothing and regenerative properties.
