  •           Cananga has a rich floral sweet slightly balsamic/woody aroma that can be detected in small amounts in a formula making it an excellent value. It has a good shelf life of about 3 years and a lasting fixative quality. Cananga is very closely related to Ylang Ylang and is sometimes used as an affordable substitute for Ylang Ylang. It is a slightly viscous liquid. The oil is distilled in a 1 step process from large, fragrant, yellow flowers that are virtually identical to those of Ylang Ylang.

  •           Cananga is similar in use to Ylang Ylang as well. It is considered a sensual oil. It is calming yet invigorating. Cananga is used as an antidepressant, for anxiety and its relaxing and sedative qualities.
