Acne can arise for many different reasons such as high hormone levels, allergies, toxins in the body and etc... For a typical case, you can try a drop of Eucalyptus oil in 20- 30 drops of olive or Jojoba oil applied on the infected area to fight the infection while the carrier oil dissolves the blockage to allow it to drain.
Eucalyptus is also an effective insect repellent. There are many different types of insects and different essential oils are more effective against certain types of insects than others. Eucalyptus is one of the better essential oils for flies, cockroaches, lice, fleas and ticks. Eucalyptus citriodora (Lemon Eucalyptus or Eucalyptus Lemon) has a citronella like aroma and is the only natural essential oil recommended by the CDC to repel the Aedes aegypti mosquito usually responsible for carrying Dengue and Zika virus in most countries.
Eucalyptus is generally considered as safe but is a powerful essential oil. It is effective to open breathing passages but it is not considered to be a good treatment during asthma attacks because a strong exposure could irritate the condition further. Likewise, for acne and sore muscle rubs, it is important to dilute Eucalyptus so it does not irritate the skin.
Note: Most essential oils cannot be taken internally, but even when they can, essential oils are highly concentrated and require dilution, special training and caution that Aroma & More does not yet provide. You can never drink any essential oils at 100% strength or diluted in water-based liquids.
Caution: Strong concentrations could irritate breathing passages. Not recommended for children under 10. Essential oils can be harmful if used improperly. Information is provided for educational purposes only. It is up to the customer to determine if the product is right for their intended purpose. Special consideration should be made before applying essential oils to pregnant women, children or the elderly. If under a doctor's care, please consult the physician before using essential oils. If applying to skin essential oils must be diluted correctly and Aroma & More recommends testing on a small area of skin to check for reaction before attempting a full body massage. Claims have not been evaluated by the FDA.
